AI at Work Pack
All employees using AI tools
How AI works, responsible use, prompting, productivity, privacy and secure use of generative AI.
By profession
For every employee who uses AI tools: decide what information can go into which tool, and protect people, clients and your organization.
For: All employees using AI tools
Learn the one AI skill every employee needs: deciding what information can safely go into which AI tool. You will practice classifying data, telling consumer and enterprise tools apart, stripping identifiers before you prompt, recognizing HIPAA, GLBA, FERPA, CCPA and contract duties, and handling AI outputs and mistakes the right way.
Built for all staff who use AI at work, from front desks and clinics to schools, finance teams, law firms and labs. Realistic cases follow a paralegal in Tucson, a loan officer in Fort Wayne, a medical assistant in Terre Haute, a school data clerk in Lafayette and an engineer in Peoria.
Most AI privacy failures are not hacks. They are ordinary people pasting the wrong file into the wrong tool under deadline pressure. This course gives you fast, practical rules (a classification check, a traffic light, a minimization routine and a same-day reporting habit) so you can keep using AI without putting anyone at risk.

Our full approvals listAnyone who uses AI tools at work: office staff, clinicians and care staff, educators, financial services staff, legal and professional services teams, and managers. It focuses on one practical skill, deciding what information can go into which AI tool, so it suits every role and assumes no technical background.
No course can list safe tools for every organization, because safety depends on your employer's contracts and settings. This course teaches you how to tell consumer and enterprise tools apart, what makes a tool suitable for sensitive data, and how to check your organization's approved list before you use any tool.

Yes, at the level everyday AI users need: what each law protects, what it means for AI tools (such as business associate agreements, the FERPA school-official exception and CCPA service-provider rules), and HIPAA de-identification awareness. For full HIPAA training, see our HIPAA course for healthcare workers.
Plan on about 2 hours: eight short modules with scenarios, a decision tool, spot-the-issue exercises and knowledge checks, then a 23-question final assessment. You need 70 percent to pass. Spaced reminder questions follow at 3, 10 and 30 days.
A Before You Paste checklist, an AI output privacy and verification checklist, a privacy-safe prompt sheet with before-and-after examples, and an AI data use standard starter your organization can adapt with its privacy and legal teams.
