Privacy policy

We collect the minimum we need to run your courses, issue verifiable certificates and keep your account secure. We do not sell your personal information.

Who we are

CE Courses Hub (“we”, “us”) runs cecourseshub.com and its online courses, tools and certificates. This policy explains how we handle personal information about visitors, learners and team buyers in the United States. Questions or requests go to support@cecourseshub.com or through the contact page.

Payments

Card and wallet payments are processed by Stripe through our checkout. Your card details go directly to Stripe and are never seen or stored by us. Stripe handles that information under its own privacy policy. We receive confirmation of payment and limited details such as the card brand and last four digits for receipts and refunds.

Cookies, local storage and analytics

  • Essential cookies keep you signed in, hold your cart and protect forms. The site cannot work without them.
  • Your choices, such as light or dark theme and text size, are stored in your browser’s local storage. Free tools save your entries in your browser unless you choose to save them to your dashboard.
  • Privacy-friendly analytics. We use a cookieless analytics service that counts visits and events without identifying you. You can opt out with the analytics choice on the site.
  • Optional analytics. If we turn on analytics tools that use cookies, they run only after you agree, and your choice is remembered in a cookie for one year.

We do not use advertising cookies or share data with ad networks for targeted advertising.

How we use information

  • Provide courses, assessments, certificates and dashboard tools
  • Process orders, refunds and team seats
  • Send emails you need, such as receipts, password resets and certificate notices
  • Send optional emails you can switch off in your dashboard: reminders to finish a course, short recall questions, renewal reminders and a digest. Product news is off unless you turn it on
  • Keep the site secure and prevent fraud and misuse
  • Improve courses and pages using aggregated statistics
  • Meet legal, tax and accounting obligations

Who we share it with

We share personal information only with service providers that help us run the site, under contracts that limit their use of it: website hosting, payment processing (Stripe), email delivery and analytics. We may disclose information if the law requires it, to protect people’s safety, or as part of a sale or merger of our business, in which case this policy continues to apply.

Certificate verification shows the learner’s name, the course, the completion date, the contact hours and the certificate status to anyone who enters a valid certificate ID. It never shows an email address. If your employer bought your seat, your employer can see your name, when you redeemed the code and whether you completed the course.

We do not sell personal information and do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

How long we keep it

  • Completion records and certificate IDs are kept so certificates stay verifiable, including after you delete your learning data.
  • Saved results and notes of learners inactive for 36 months are deleted automatically.
  • Orders are kept as long as tax and accounting rules require.
  • Account details are kept while your account is open and deleted when you ask us to close it, except what we must keep for the reasons above.

Your choices and rights

Wherever you live in the US, you can:

  • Download your data from your dashboard settings
  • Delete your learning data (notes, saved results, CE tracker and planner entries) from your dashboard settings
  • Correct your name and certificate name in your dashboard, or ask us to correct anything else
  • Ask us to close your account and delete your personal information, subject to the records we must keep
  • Change email preferences at any time, or use the unsubscribe link in any optional email

Email support@cecourseshub.com to make a request. We may need to confirm your identity first, and we will not treat you differently for using these rights. Some states give residents specific rights and appeal processes; if your request is denied, reply to our decision to ask us to reconsider it.

Security

We use encrypted connections, hashed passwords, access controls and private storage for uploaded files. Course answer keys and private files cannot be read from the web. No system is perfectly secure, so use a strong, unique password and tell us right away if you think your account has been misused.

Children

Our courses are for adults and working professionals. The site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We will update this page when our practices change and change the date below. If a change is significant, we will tell account holders by email before it takes effect.
